Amaara Forest Hotel Sigiriya, Sigiriya

My stay at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, but being on the second floor posed challenges for us as senior guests. The location was ideal, nestled in a private jungle area away from the hustle and bustle, though the nearby air conditioning was a bit disruptive. The friendly service and lovely dining options made our stay enjoyable overall.

I have mixed feelings about this hotel. On the positive side, the separate buildings provide excellent privacy, and the rooms were clean and tidy with useful amenities. However, the wardrobe in each room had an unpleasant smell. The spacious room layout easily accommodated a third bed.
